Sheryl Magzamen 

Sheryl Magzamen is an associate professor in the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State. She is an epidemiologist and studies the impacts of environmental exposures and social factors on respiratory diseases like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Jeff Pierce 

Jeff Pierce is a Professor of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University. He studies atmospheric particulate matter and its impacts on climate and health.


Emily Fischer

Dr. Emily Fischer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University (CSU). Bonne Ford 

Bonne Ford is a Research Scientist at Colorado State University in the Department of Atmospheric Science. She uses a variety of data sources (surface measurements, satellite observations, and models) to study air quality with a specific interest in landscape fire smoke

Kellin Slater, M.A., is a Ph.D. Candidate in the department of  Environmental Health and Epidemiology at Colorado State University. They study  household and ambient air pollution in the context of environmental justice. 

Olivia Sablan is a graduate student in the department of atmospheric science at Colorado State University. She studies biomass burning with the use of low cost sensors.

Zoey Rosen, M.S., is a PhD candidate in the Public Communication and Technology program in the Department of Journalism and Media Communication at CSU. Her research examines risk communication during severe weather outbreaks, among other environmental topics such as air quality.

Giovanna Henery is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Public Communication and Technology program here at CSU. Her research focuses on online extremism, how misinformation spreads and the differences in how people interact with their online and offline spaces
